Torbel Properties, through its subsidiaries, has gradually acquired assets in Spain at an attractive time in the cycle and expects to take advantage of the recovery trend in the real estate market. The valuation of the assets of the Company amounts to 218 million euros and its sole shareholder is Empire SOCIMI Holdco, S.à r.L., a company owned by funds advised by Blackstone.
Torbel Properties has 2,495 assets for lease, having already completed the acquisition phase. From now on, the company will focus on the optimization of the portfolio’s profitability, for which it will have the experience and the team of Anticipa Real Estate, which is entrusted with asset management. The company offers a comprehensive leasing service for its tenants, responding to the growing demand for rental housing that is experiencing the Spanish market.
The policy of new leases of Torbel Properties is based on the selection of clients with economic solvency and visibility of long-term income, in order to achieve an increase in the percentage of existing occupancy, ensuring maximum profitability of the portfolio.
The Torbel Properties portfolio contains different types of real estate for leasing to respond to the different needs of tenants, highlighting residential assets that account for more than 87 percent of the total portfolio.
